The location is close to the beach, der Nordstrand, and close to a variety of shops and restaurants, all in walking distance. There are bike rental places near by. The weather was fantastic too. Göhren is very clean, the people are friendly and the beach is wonderful with white, very soft sand. The kurtaxe covers local bus rides and ship journeys with the white fleet ships, which is lovely. We even had a free drink at the Grillhouse.We definitely recommend to rent the property for your holiday at any time. We will be back as soon as we can.

H.W.S. Hotel Der Wilde Schwan consists of 3 half-timbered buildings (a main building and 2 apartment buildings) providing bright suites and apartments. All accommodation in decorated with stylish Scandinavian-style interiors, wooden floors and a flat-screen TV. The place is amazing! Located in the middle of wheat fields, very idyllic, it still had everything you wished for: playground for the kids, "play station" and petting zoo. There was even a "bowling" alley (Kegelbahn) and sauna that guests could book for free (we used the former, a lot of fun for kids). The room was comfortable and didn't feel cramped. There was a kettle and fridge with freezer available as well. The staff was super friendly and helped with all questions. Big plus was the e-car charger (11kW, 0.50EUR/kWh) that helped us fill up before our long haul the day after (in fact the only hotel on our entire road trip that offered this on site)
