The Tamarind is not a hotel. It aims at long and short stay residents. However it was clean, peaceful and provided a good place at a reasonable rate. It was a long weekend and most hotels were booked out. A taxi is needed to take you to most places while walking covers a market, coffee and food which are a couple of blocks. no food service is available at Tamarind.
