The place is near the Yamo Market (2 min on foot) and "The Mall" (10 min on foot). You can get all you needed, without a vehicle BUT you shouldn't "Only camels and white poeple walk in the sun" ;).
No permanently loud bars or annoying streetsounds. If you have an own car or motorbike you can use the parkinglot infront of the hotel.
The breakfast is thai typical. Well made with love, nothing to complain. Sometimes they had little specials always worth trying.
The staff is lovely and speaks english very well, no problems to communicate, every time willing to help.

Not much to like about this place Aircon was poor so bad that they changed our room but it didn't make any difference had to have aircon on maximum all night. Very dated hotel would never stay there again and would not recommend. Seasoned travelers and we were not expecting the Hilton but this one was 1 *
