Room was very clean and a good size for a family of 5. Bathroom was very clean and the shower had great water pressure.
Motel is on the main road and across the road from a playground. The staff member was very helpful when we asked to use the BBQ.

Nice and Quite- Location is close to town so you don't have to travel far to grab supplies.
Rooms are clean- Bathroom was excellent had all I needed for the duration of my stay.
Totally enjoyed my stay.

Such a homely feel, really clean. Had everything we needed. Lovely staff member, really helpful and friendly. Can not complain, would definitely use again if needed. Good value for money

The rooms were spotlessly clean and we were received in an extremely friendly manner. A dress we forgot in the room was sent back to us within days, and communication was very easy.

Plenty of chain hotels fall within this star rating and offer central locations close to popular landmarks.
They genuinely care about the customers. They were accommodating, professional, and welcoming. The facilities were adequate and the location was historic with the memorial on-site. Its a stones throw for Kataia and adequately priced.
Bar and restaurant at location (although the menu had shrunk due to lack of staffing). Husband enjoyed playing pool table.
Owner tried to be accommodating when I had changed my plans and could only stay one night.
The hotel was just a 5-10 min drive to Kaitaia where you could access more shops e.g. paknsave, warehous, more restaurants etc.,
Great location if you want to be close to Cape Reinga lighthouse to get there nice and early the next day and miss the crowds! Awesome bar attached to accommodation with food, drinks, a small library, pool tables, friendly staff and an old-school atmosphere. Room was small, cosy and had character. Great experience that made our trip up North memorable. Would stay here again in the future.
The location was great. The owners are lovely to talk to.
