ViaVia Boutique Hotel - Kathmandu, hotel in Bhaktapur

ViaVia Boutique Hotel - Kathmandu features free bikes, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kathmandu. This 3-star hotel offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi.

The location is great. Boudnath is a quieter alternative to staying in Thamel. Air quality in Kathmandu is pretty bad, but Boudnath air is noticeably better due to its higher elevation. Our room was modern light and airy. The air conditioning unit virtually silent. The shower was exceptional, great water pressure from a large rain shower head. The bed was very comfortable. The area was very quiet at night and we slept really well, much better than when we have stayed in Thamel on previous trips. We checked out very early in the morning before breakfast to start our trek, but we were presented with a packed breakfast to take with us which was such a nice gesture. At this price point I think you’d be hard pushed to find better in this area. We look forward to returning at the end of our trek.

The location is amazing! We booked a room with a shared bathroom and the owner let us use a private bathroom of another unoccupied room next to ours which was super nice!! The bed was comfy and there was hot water and a mosquito net. It's a quiet spot in the middle of the old city centre.

The location is very close to the city center of the Bhaktapur. The owner and her families show the biggest hospitality to every guest from all over the world. Once I come the homestay, the owner asked me if I need a cup of water, which gave me a feeling of returing home. The environment of the room is very tiny and clean, with a picture of Bhaktapur square.

The breakfast was excellent, with a view over the whole city from the roof. The location was in the city center, right inside the old city within a very short walking distance from all the main places. The staff is caring and takes care of every need, they provide toilet paper and water when needed, and advise on tours in the area. All in all, a place with a very pleasant atmosphere, spacious rooms and a very fair value for the price.

What an incredibly nice stay I had! It is really a shared home and I felt like home. One of my best stays in Nepal! Shekar the owner is kind, friendly and funny. He showed me the city and the beautiful local places, it was such a nice experience! The rooftop is pretty and the common room was nice to hang out with Shekhar and the other traveler. It was quite at night and during the day because of the location but you are in the middle of the city centre!

Location is unbeatable and still it is quiet. Whatever you do go for the deluxe bedroom. It's a different world compared with the budget room. I wouldn't have stay in the budget. I advise room 204. Warm, with incredible views to the main monument of Durbar square, AC... Very comfortable. Breakfast, good. Comfy bed. Great quality for the price.
