It felt privileged to stay at this temple lodging. Being located amidst the the temple buildings it was very atmospheric and serene. The staff were super friendly (even with limited English we still communicated well). They helped me make a last minute zen meditation session booking for which I was very grateful. Food was delicious. Shuttle service from the train station was necessary without own transport. They also offered a shuttle to a local famous art museum and garden.

This universal room is wheelchair-friendly with wide maneuvering space and the bathroom is designed for wheelchair access as well, though some of the hangers’ placement might seem a bit too high for a person in a wheelchair to reach.
Dryers and washer worked well unlike another GR property we stayed in during this trip.
Location is good, just 5min away from Yonago with plenty of eateries and izakayas around while still being quiet.
We actually came back to stay in a standard twin room a few days later as we got stranded in Yonago for a day due to post-typhoon heavy rain and happy to say that room key expectations as well.

Great stay! So comfortable and clean. Room was so spacious compared to other business type hotels I have stayed in Japan. Staff were so kind and helpful. Hotel is in a peaceful and quiet location. Only about 10-15 minutes walk from the station so convenient to access the town or trains/ buses for traveling around. I really enjoyed my stay, was relaxing and excellent value for money. Lovely view from the window!

This hotel truly deserves the title ‘super’. Check in is smooth and entering your room requires a pin code printed out on a receipt, so you don’t have to worry about a key or key card. The room has a comfortable diner-style table to sit at. The bath is wide, making for a comfortable shower. The bed, sheet and quilt are very comfortable and soft pillows are available near the reception. The air conditioner is fully adjustable and worked perfectly throughout the night. Even more noteworthy is the black-out curtain that completely blocked out the morning sun. There is a welcome bar with a wide and generous selection of soft and hard drinks between 6-9pm and a free breakfast with a decent variety that changes each day. Finally, the hotel is a very short walk from Yonago Station. I had a smoking room due to the price but it didn’t smell too bad after spraying the room.
