Centrally located, Hotel Davanzati is a great value! Breakfast is included and has a nice spread of meats, cheeses, bread, fruit and sweets. A very typical buffet style breakfast in Europe. They also have a great happy hour with some small snacks. The service was outstanding. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They provided directions through the city and helped us arrange a dinner reservation on our last evening. This was an engagement trip for my fiancée and I. We couldn’t have been more happy with our stay here!

The property is delightful, the director of the property, Andrea-has been very kind and helpful. The rooms are stylish, well furnished and the bathrooms are extremely clean and functional. Marble and wooden floors in the rooms-the beds are very comfortable and you also get two pillows according to your needs. Breakfast is perfectly fine, there’s a nice variety of choice with a well dedicated service and delicious coffee choice.The surroundings also offer a nice choice of restaurants and you can escape the overcrowded city centre while staying in a beautiful suburb. Top choice for a 3 Star! We will definitely come back!

From my accommodation, I was treated to panoramic vistas of Florence's iconic landmarks, allowing me to truly appreciate the city's charm and beauty. It was a surreal feeling to witness the picturesque rooftops and the mesmerizing sunset over the horizon. The property itself held a fascinating history that added an extra layer of enchantment to my stay. The atmosphere exuded a sense of a cherished family home, once inhabited by a renowned writer. The ambiance of the house, with its old-world charm and timeless elegance, made me feel connected to the rich cultural heritage of Florence. The family who rented out the property were absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Their genuine hospitality and trust made me feel like a part of their extended family, creating an even more meaningful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the true essence of Florence.
