We prefered the Pousada Inn, with quiet and nicely renovated rooms. Rooms in the regular Inn look a bit oldfashioned. Nice terrace restaurant on upper floor with good food in the middle of the old city district. Really nice service.

Mateus is truly a hidden gem! I had a fantastic stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, making me feel right at home. The location is perfect, especially if you're keen to explore the area. The breakfast was a delicious and thoughtful touch that added to the experience. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!
