I had the great privilege of having a little time to get to know Salim and his family. They were very kind to me. Salim took me on some adventures around Bikaner and I learned a lot about the history and culture. He is most knowledgeable and very generous with his sharing.
Salim introduced me to his father who is an incredible artist. We had a wonderful time looking through his portfolio and I bought a gorgeous sketch for my daughter.
Salim also introduced me to his mother who cooked a lovely meal, which we are watching the sun set from the rooftop.

It's a nice and clean budget place in a central location, just off the main street that runs between the fort and the Jain temple. Railway station is a short walk away, and Rampuria Haveli is a couple of blocks from the guest house. The host, Gulam, and the team are friendly people, and the place and location have a nice community feel.
Very nice host who told us a lot about Bikaner and who was always trying to make our stay as good as possible. He is a very good tourist guide and, thanks to him, we had a very good (short) stay in Bikaner and learned a lot. Dinner offered by the family is also of very good quality. Location very good in the old center of the city. Overall, very good place for backpackers/ low budget travellers who are interested in learning about the local culture.
Great location in the old Town
Very nice family and host ,who knows a lot about Bikaner and is ready to help you with advices what to do. We went with him to camel farm and it was very nice. Also my husband felt a little sick for few days and he took us to good pharmacy.

Location is just perfect. Each and everything you'll need is nearby. Be it the local wholesale Market or streetfood corners.
Staffs are very helpful and nice. Bilal is very kind and helpful too. The food served in here is good but slightly on above the budget. The Haveli not very big but after staying you'll get to feel how people in the old times were living in Rajasthan. Highly recommended for a couple days stay. Though you might not be comfortable if the stay is longer than 2 to 3 days.
We were on a short day trip to Bikaner and needed a budget hotel to rest. We booked this hotel online. We were expecting less from this hotel, but it proved to be much better. All rooms were Standard room, in which we stayed, was a small room, however, sufficient if you are taking it for a small trip. Room service was ok. There was dirt at one place in the room and we asked the staff to clean it. They said cleaning staff is coming in 10-15 minutes but didn't come. We didn't bother as we were leaving in sometime. Tea
