I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful place Villa Samalas in Gili Meno, where the very friendly staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The bungalows were nice, and there was a small restaurant, as well as a good and quiet beach. Everything lived up to the expectations one would have for a vacation. The wifi worked very well in the room. I would highly recommend this place and would love to visit again. Thank you!

I can’t wait to return!! From the moment I arrived I knew I wanted to come back and stay much longer. I was greeted warmly by Made and his huge smile and immediately served a lovely cold tea with ice which was so appreciated on the hot, humid day! The property is beautiful, filled with hibiscus and other blooms and obviously so well cared for. My traditional bungalow was well designed and decorated, with a very soothing vibe. The bed and pillows were so comfy and the space was squeaky clean. The attached open-air bathroom was also thoughtfully laid out and decorated with shower, toilet and sink...all worked perfectly. There was a covered entrance with table chairs and hammock for sitting out. There is a pool with umbrellas and loungers, the pool was super clean and the space was relaxing and lovely. There were so many extra touches that really stood out...a flat screen TV, hair dryer, shampoo and body wash, bicycles to use, booking massages or activities, a delicious dinner menu and the availability of cold and hot beverages throughout the day. Breakfast was delicious and served with a big smile by Reeka, a wonderful way to start the day! Homemade bread, fresh fruits, banana pancakes, eggs, coffee/ tea and juices- delish!! Of course, the best parts of Meno Dream are the owners and staff! Made and Bernie have created a true oasis on this little island, it is clear that they put their heart and soul into their resort! Their staff, Reeka and Ari, take very good care of you and the property. They are all so warm, kind and well organized. If you are lucky you will meet Lana, Made and Bernie’s adorable daughter, she may play you her favorite songs and have a dance party! Thank you all for such a beautiful 5 days🙏🏽

The staff were outstanding and so friendly! The rooms are lovely and the pool was small but delightful to cool off in. Beach is just a few minutes walk away and there’s great snorkeling spots close by. Just be aware that the mosque is very close so it’s pretty loud if you think this might bother you.

With no cars, no scooters only small single track roads/sand paths and horses, horse and cart and bicycles this small island was easy to go completely around in a couple of hours. The island is surrounded by golden beaches. *Highlight - everyday 40 meters from the beach of this property we saw and swam with turtles usually 6-10 wonderful* **The famous underwater statues are 400 meters away and we walked then went 60 meters out in shallow water and there they were - great sight and if you go a few hundred meters on you can go to "The Wall" which is where the turtles sleep often in the morning and we saw Nemo there as well...
