On the banks of the River Tay, situated at the Grandtully rapids, this family-friendly inn is surrounded by scenic Perthshire countryside. It has a stunning riverside restaurant serving a menu using local ingredients and a relaxing bar with a welcoming wood-burning stove.

We absolutely loved the Inn on the Tay, the location next to the river Tay is amazing, the room (we had a family room number 5) was very cosy and super clean and nicely decorated, which made us feel like home immediately. The beds were super for chilling and the bar and restaurant were charming and very 'gezellig '. We liked to take a drink and played some games with the family. The owners and personnel were all very sweet, relaxt and helpful. The walk along their river with the dogs was nice and challenging for the dogs by jumping over the rocks.

Just 10 minutes’ drive from the Cairngorms National Park, this charming self-catering detached cottage has a fully enclosed garden and free parking. Homely features include a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable seating area with a flat-screen TV and Blu-ray DVD player.

The location was perfect, quiet, and comfortable for sleeping, with a short 10min walk to all amenities, restaurants, shops & parks. Walking to the central part of town might be difficult for some due to the hilly area. Parking was perfect with a gate to the driveway. The carriage house has everything needed for short or long stays, I would definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

Close proximity to the Blair Atholl distillery and very central in Pitlochry. Good parking

Received a complimentary upgrade on arrival to one of the newly renovated rooms and our room was modern, clean and spacious. Though we thought the toiletries, tea/coffee, etc in the room felt a little budget for the style of hotel. However, the bed was very comfy and we enjoyed a good buffet breakfast the following morning with lots of choice. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner and it is in a good location for getting into Cairngorms.

The hostel itself is fabulous & within old historical building, wholesome, warm, comfortable to a certain degree, colourful & eclectic decor, central location on the high street, small carpark to the rear & convenient for hiking to summit of Ben-y-Vrackie. Accommodation very clean and tidy. Free tea, coffee, milk, sugar and hot choc on tap. Although I didnt have the breakfast they provided, it looked adequate with reasonable small choice at a good price of £3.50.

Comfortable room with decent en-suite facilities. Furnishings were fine...not posh but better than in budget hotels. There wasn't a huge amount of space but it was nice to have some extra space to sit and relax in without having to be on the bed. Breakfast was great with a lot of choice on the menu. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Location also great as was within walking distance of the town centre and theatre. Enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine on the chairs provided.
