The room was comfortable and clean and perfect for the 1 night we were there. We didn’t upgrade this time but the bigger rooms are lovely.

The hotel itself is really nice, it's quiet and clean - the rooms were well furnished and heated. Breakfast was quite good at the restaurant and I really appreciated that you had a menu to order from, in order to then have the food cooked specifically for you, that was a great touch. Staff were also really friendly.

The staff were very friendly and attentive and the hotel is set in beautiful countryside ideal for exploring some of the surrounding towns and cities. We were visiting family for a couple of days before travelling up north so the location was ideal.
I booked this room for my friend who is a musician and was playing for a wedding in a place nearby. He thought the staff were very nice and the location was absolutely perfect as he only had to walk for 10 minutes. It was a great place to spend the night and there are buses that go straight to Glasgow.
Convenient location as travelling from Edinburgh to Troon for The Open. Room was nice and modern and felt like it had recently been refurbished. Very good shower and comfortable bed. Nice breakfast too.
