We were greeted with a warm welcome from Laura, who was very kind and helpful. A big thank you to her for treating us extremely well for the duration of our stay. Even after we arrived a bit before the check-in, we were allowed to access the room, which was great as we were in need of a rest after our travels. The decor of the hotel is lovely. The room was comfortable and quiet with a lovely view of green spaces at the back. The breakfast is great value and delicious. The owners, especially the son was very friendly and cooked the breakfast in the morning. As it was my birthday, they didn't charge me for the breakfast which was a lovely touch. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. It is a convenient 10 mins stroll from the main street and 1 min from haymarket train station, which was convenient as we came by train from Aberdeen. The tram to the airport is also in front so we had easy access to it when we leaving Edinburgh. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Edinburgh.

The house was located in a really nice area, quite calm and green. The bed was comfortable, nice pillows, all very clean and tidy. Coffee was great, also an abundance of re-supplies of milk, sugar, and tea available on the first floor and corridor. Overall, a nice interior, easy check-in, friendly staff.
