The proximity to the beach was excellent, however our window was above a restaurant with outdoor tables and right by a funfair, so there was evening noise. Generally it was quite by about midnight.

Very nice room, we got upgraded from what we originally booked. Our room had a nice terrace. You can have a coffee pr tea 24/7 free of charge by reception and the brrakfast is very nice, costing €18 per person. It involves a basked of bread, pain au chocolat, croissant and soft boiled egg. There's a buffet where you can have cereal, yoghurt and brioche. All very nice. Staff were very friendly and pleasant. Great location next to the church aswell, short cycle to the nearest beach.

The location was perfect - right in the centre of La Flotte. Room was clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast there. Staff were very helpful. Would recommend.

Great location. Almost on the beach. The rooms are comfortable and ours was quiet (overlooking the garden). It's not a luxury hotel but it's an excellent option for the île de Ré - Staff are hugely accommodating and we've not been staying there over the past 15 years .
The house was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the garden, and the jacuzzi, and the location was excellent. Wonderful covered market and good shops. Couarde has the best beaches (we explored many others on the island) and they were a 5 minute walk from our door. Tennis club looked very nice too.
This property has been beautifully designed and its location was ideal for us on the outskirts of the charming seaside village of La Couarde-sur-Mer. We arrived by plane to LaRochelle airport, taxi to property and for the rest of the week we used only bicycles (which were waiting for us in the garage). Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the kitchen is well equipped. Fantastic villa near charming village, beautiful beach, excellent market and great restaurants.

Excellent location on the beautiful island of Île de Ré, which is bridge linked providing easy access, where we received a warm welcome, enjoyed an exceptionally large bedroom with high ceilings and easy operation of almost silent air conditioning unit with a chef in the kitchen who is clearly very skilled. Short stroll to a beach that stretches for miles with Atlantic waves gently washing ashore, lunch or evening dining options within touching distance so a treat to be able to park the car, relax & enjoying this special location.
Wonderful location walking distance from the beach but tucked away from the crowds.
We stayed in the little accommodation at the back which wasn’t as glamorous as the rest of the shared house but it was perfectly comfortable for our short stay.
