An excellent hotel in a very good location. A very comfortable, spacious room and comfortable beds. Everything was spotlessly clean. Outstanding breakfast with a very good choice and homemade jams and cake. Evening meals were also very good indeed, The couple who run the hotel could not have been more pleasant, attentive and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel. Bad Bertrich is interesting and ideal for a quiet, relaxed stay. There is good walking and cycling in the local area. We would have tried the spa baths (reasonably priced) but regrettably had not packed swimming trunks - if you go then we suggest that you take some with you.

The hotel is located in the middle of a small village. Attractive building with bags of character. Very friendly welcome and staff. The room was not huge, but large enough. Good breakfast, served until 11am, really good if you are on holiday and don't want to get up too early. Simple evening meals are available, except Mondays and Tuesdays. For a more extended menu, you are well served in the restaurants in Zell, about 5km upstream.
