The area is popular for cycling, and bike hire and car hire are available at Explorers River Camp. The campground has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Beautiful spot ! We stayed in a tent with a river view and it was so amazing ! You have your own private tent with a little balcony area to chill ! So many monkeys playing around in the trees ! Lots of activities to do , rafting, kayaking, tubing, boat cruise, paddle boarding ! Sunset view is really nice ! They have a giant slide to use and a swimming area in the Nile! Staff was always very nice ! Washrooms were always clean ! Good free breakfast and great French press coffee ( probably the best coffee I had in Uganda ) ! I only ate at the restaurant for breakfast which was good . Right outside the gates there is a local street with a few vendors selling traditional food so we ate there a lot as we enjoy traditional food and was cheap - 3 Rolex vendors , chicken and chips vendor , coffee spot , lunch spots that serve matoke , beans, eats and 4-8pm little stand with posho , rice , beans , cabbage , really good !!!! Easy to get two from Jinja you can just take a Boda Boda and it is around a 25 minute ride- anywhere from 10,000 -20,000 shillings depending where you going/ coming from !

it was a very nice place and the staff was very friendly and helpful, at the first day, they offered to change our room because our room was a bit from the lobby, we spent a lovely time in this hotel, all the staff tried to make us happy and wanted to help us, we needed something and they kindly helped us, we left our charger at the hotel in our room and they give it to someone that we sent there, I want to say thank you to all lovely staff especially the reception guys Jane and Faith who They almost always followed us
A wonderful escape from the dust, the rooms and space were beautiful, calm and relaxing. The food was tasty and the staff were excellent.
Warm welcome by our host to a beautifully designed bed & breakast. Nice lounge and outside patio to relax and enjoy the peace & quiet . Beautiful room, with large bathroom, all spotlessly clean with all amenities necessary for an overnight stay. Individual choices of Lovely fresh breakfast, served at a time to suit . This place exceeded our expectations, and we will return again soon.
Breakfast Selection quite good, Lovely location with a room overlooking the Nile. A staff member (a lady) heard us talking about a river trip and rang Peter who got in touch with us which was helpful (Margaret?. Pool was lovely, relaxing and bar staff very good.
The hotel is classy and spacious. It has several terrases for sitting, working, chilling with breathtaking views. I also enjoyed the sunbed at the pool. The wifi works only in the lounge. Breakfast was very nice, especially the selection of fresh fruits. Staff at the restaurant is very engaged, not so at the reception. There were no mosquitos at all! Very good experience
We had a great stay for two days! The facilities were nice and relaxing, with lots of places to hang out in the garden and at the terrace by the bar. The rooms were clean. The staff was very welcoming and service oriented, and the owner of the hostel gave us great recommendations for things to do, and was very helpful and kind. The food was good, especially the breakfast! We will definitely choose this accommodation again if we get the chance to visit Jinja another time.

Such a beautiful property, extremely relaxing and lovely big rooms with plenty of space inside and out. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and such a nice way to start the day. I will be back to stay again.
The property is located in a quiet setting next to the Nile. The staff went out of their way to provide all the accomodations I needed to rest and relax. They also provided a great breakfast for me in the morning.
