Situated in Koh Tao and with Sairee Beach reachable within 300 metres, The Stamp Hotel features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. This 3-star hotel offers a tour desk and luggage storage space. All rooms are equipped with a patio with views of the mountain. Good family run hotel (Wan & brother "K"). Clean, spacious, quiet rooms yet close to the beach, restaurants, & bars. A/C is powerful & they have a very useful backup generator if the city power goes out (which did happen on 1 of the 6 nights I stayed here). They also rent scooters, book tours, etc. "K" runs the scooter rentals. He seemed pretty reasonable to me. "Reception" area also a small "tourist" office run by Wan & "K" which didn't bother me. I sleep in the room, not the reception area. I'd prefer a not so great "reception" area & a great room vs the other way around. Good value, especially if you are not renting a scooter on the island, as it's very conveniently located without the noise. Exactly what I was looking for. A 500 Baht deposit is required for room key. I had no problem getting it back upon departure.

We stayed in the deluxe double villa and it was right on the water. Heard the sounds of the ocean all night long. Very relaxing to lay in the hammock and watch the waves. Restaurant was amazing and accommodating for my vegan diet. Would recommend the pineapple fried rice with tofu!
