The accommodation features a sauna. The accommodation provides a sauna, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. It was absolutely what was needed for us at the time--a place to rest our minds and hearts. The location was out of the way of most tourists which made it even better. The property comes with wellness facilities and provides shuttle service to the nearby ski area. The studio is well located on the outskirts of Bohinj Bistrica, within walking distance from all the facilities downtown (10min). It is clean and all amenities are as advertised, down to the smallest detail (nothing is worn out or broken, everything is ready and where it should be). The studio itself is co sy (I was in the one one the ground floor) and comfortable for a single traveller or a couple. There is an allocated parking spot and a bike/ski booth on demand. The villa has a mini gym and a mini welness, but did not have time to try them out. Marko was a great host - got in touch in advance and provided guidance for the stay (access to the appartment, details on the region, etc). He was very responsive by email, so never had to call.

Finnish and infrared saunas, as well as a Turkish bath and massage treatments, can be arranged at an extra charge. Guests can also relax on the common terrace and use the barbecue. The nearest grocery store is a 15-minute drive away. The place is beautiful, the attention couldn't be better. Jasmina is a great host, always helpful and informative, we felt like home. The food is amazing. 11/10 experience.

He did everything in his power - and even a little more - to make everything proceed smoothly, and let us enjoy the trip. He helped us tremendously - from little things, like providing e.g. timetables before the stay, through taking care of our luggage well before expected check-in time and accepting our minor requests, to giving us tips on where is the best place to eat in the area and what are the places to see. I've never expected to meet a person so committed to make us love the stay in Bohinj. And that he did. The area is beautiful, it has everything one needs on a trip. Our favorite was the ice cream place just around the corner - cheap and delicious! Dusan also provided us with free bikes, and the biking infrastructure around the area (especially towards Bohinj lake) is great. We were mostly hiking, and the location 5 minutes from the main bus stop (and 7 minutes from Danica camp) made it easy to access the popular trails and attractions (e.g. Vogel and Visevnik, but we also made a trip to Triglav with only public transport; there is also good communication to Bled and Ljubljana). If you are still wondering whether Slovenia (and Bohinj) is the right place to spend the vacation - the nature is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. Casa Bohinj is a great starting point for this. In terms of accomodation itself - don't let the photos trick you. When we first viewed them, we thought that the room was cramped - well, no avoiding the fact that it isn't the most spacious room we've seen, but it didn't feel small to us once we arrived. There are many drawers, shelves and cabinets which easily fit stuff of three adults with excess, and as we initially planned the trip for 4 people, we feel that we could easily accommodate another person. We weren't really needy in that respect, as a mostly hiking group.
