Location was perfect for attending the spelmanstämma. One room was wonderful, the other just ok. Owner was super-nice. Lots of stuff for children, which wasn't relevant for us but would be nice for children. Lovely setting. Lots of nice places to sit outside, including a glass pavilion (perfect for a fiddle session in cold or damp weather).

Beautiful building, clean and quiet rooms, place has an interesting history. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious, individually built and laid out beautifully.

We were on our way to Sälen and needed a stop. We were met by a very kind and professional staff. The rooms were spacious, clean and we had a nice view of a lake nearby. In the evening we had a dinner at the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. We had to leave before the serving of breakfast. Then the staff made some sandwiches to us for the early morning travel.
Lovely farm house. Beautiful main building where the lovely host served a fantastic breakfast. Great there was somewhere to charge our electric car. So fantastic to have the outdoor hot tub and sauna all to ourselves. Our pre-teen girls really appreciated their first sauna and dipping in the snow experience. Really welcoming and accommodating hosts. I’d definitely recommend and we’d stay here again if we are coming this way again.
Lovely hotel, very good breakfast, great location. Spa was amazing, the rooftop pool was the highlight of our trip. Would definitely stay here again.
The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful and the public areas were fine. Breakfast was acceptable.The hotel was good in many ways but we were disappointed with our room. The beds were small and the mattresses too thin. Storage space for our clothes was minimal. Only 4 coat hangers provided for two people. The room itself was small and cramped. The bathroom did not drain properly so there was a sour odor when it was not in use. No safe provided.
Location is amazing. The grounds and the lake are very special. Super Sauna although the swimming deck is dangerous and needs some repair work to make it safe. The room was clean, very spacious with a lovely old world feel which suits the building and common areas. A lovely breakfast at a reasonable cost is available.
Breakfast fab as advertised....location brilliant...didn' read the fine print that one needed a spa package to use the pool in Summer months....the pool was tiny, more like a hot tub without the bubbles.
Very friendly, warm and hospitable owners. Very clean and spacious house provided with all luxury you need. All you need for a relaxed time in that area. Beautiful and accessible location. We had a wonderfull time overthere, Highly recommended !
The hotel has a very friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet and the location is prime. The relax area is a bit odd. I am unsure what the purpose are. Theres a sauna and a few chairs. And thats that. The room was nice, even though the way the shower water ran into the toilet stall was a bit Strange. But I’d stay there again ig I get back to Uppsala
