The traditional wooden property has modernised interiors and is surrounded by a large garden. Great place in a nice location. I liked that there was quiet and nearby the forest. The house looks small from outside, but it's big inside. Rooms were clean and fresh looking. And of course the host is nice, polite and good communicator.

The hotel is very close to beautiful cross country skiing tracks leading through the beautiful scenery. We could also rent the skies at the hotel.

Excellent location, very good breakfast, also nice that there is a swimming pool and (hot) sauna. Small gym with (strength) equipment for the upper body. Good value for money.
The buffet breakfast was excellent. We used the pool and the sauna and these were well maintained. We also used the underground car [ark, which was very convenient (given the snowy conditions).
The staff were great, the room spacious and nicely furnished with a super bathroom. Nice bar too and a great breakfast. The heated garage under the hotel was also first class. And it has a lovely pool. Finally it was great value for money.
Very traditional property with hot tub and sauna. Pretty interior and decorated for Christmas. Beautiful countryside with horse farm for sleigh rides. Host very helpful. Ski resort with a good ski bar/ restaurant
excellent hotel with a real nice homely feeling to it. the hosts were extremely friendly people and made me feel at home. The hotel facility consists of a really nice and cosy old cottage that has been turned in to a sort of residents lounge, where you can sit and relax , a really nice touch. The breakfast was included in the stay and very good. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stop over in this area. I will also return at the next opportunity. an excellent find.
Amazing accommodation with very nice owners. Quiet place near the lake. Possibility to use the sauna with a unique atmosphere. There is a seating area, a lounge and a kitchen. Btw great breakfast.

We stayed one night at the Elite Grand Hotel and our stay was perfect. The hotel is very nice, rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and very varied. We recommend.
Good central location and a short walk across the bridge to the old quarter. Good breakfast selection. Some parking nearby if not need to use the enclosed parking a bit further away Evening meals at hotel are expensive The hot tub and sauna are not operational due to flood damage last August. This needs to be updated on the hotel description
One of the most enjoyable stays I have had: very attractive building, rooms nicely decorated (typical 'herrgård' or Swedish manor house style). Staff very helpful, old fashioned but very good 5 course buffet style dinner, and breakfast choice also good. There is a spa in the basement: the sauna is free (Booking.com is wrong about this) and that is all I used but the spa looked very extensive and well laid out and not that expensive for those who like that. Our room also well furnished, wardrobe a bit basic but perfectly adequate.
