It’s a beautiful apartment and a perfect size for a big family of 4-6 people. I wish there was a second bathroom but we always manage. I jad read reviewer saying the washing machine was complicated to use, so I had asked the landlord to show me how to use it. It was actually very simply and the settling are all in English anyway. It’s a matter of waiting a couple of seconds for the machine to start. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was clean, there was an espresso machine with capsules. It’s perfectly located in the center. Although it’s a small town anyway, but it was nice to have the option of running back to the apartment for a sweater etc

This country house is located in Fátima, 500 metres from the Fátima Sanctuary. The tranquil unit features luxurious studios and rooms. It includes a wellness area, providing massages and treatments, and a swimming pool. Best hotel of the trip! The staff were very kind, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Vila dos Castanheiros is an amazing place for a short or longer break. It is surrounded by nature and the accommodation is perfect. The welcome we have received by Manuela and her staff was very much appreciated, we loved chatting and finding out more about this stunning place and the areas we should visit. I cannot wait to go again and do some of the amazing walks in the hills and wooded areas, swim in the local rivers and in Vila dos Castanheiros own refreshing pool. The breakfast was perfect and varied, with local produce. Thank you Manuela! This is an idyllic place for a romantic break, or time with friends or family, which we highly recommend.

The garden terrace with sun loungers is perfect for soaking up the sun. First visit to this Hotel and we loved it. We were sent here on a referral from another hotel as one of our party has limited mobility and the Hotel Lusitana was extremely accomodating. The pool, full spa, outdoor bar and restaurant are all top notch. Plenty of parking. The staff was very nice, particularly Ms. Joana at reception. We will stay there again in the future for sure.

Lizz & Jan are such warm people and really are the ultimate hosts. We felt so welcome. The food was the best we have eaten during our time in Portugal. Outstanding!
