Situated in Chaves, 300 metres from Chaves Thermal Spa, Castelo Hotel features accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. Lovely room - amazing bathroom with backlit alabaster wall, freestanding tub, separate shower. Great staff, especially Anna at the front desk whose recommendations for restaurants and excursions were excellent. Lovely breakfast. Located right beside the castle and walking distance to everything including Roman baths and bridge..

Torel Avantgarde is set in Porto's centre, a 10-minute walk from the Douro riverside and 750 metres from the iconic Clérigos Church. Perfect experience for couples! The Staff was amazing (big shout out to Dário), room was incredible and the breakfast, heavenly! Astonishing view and amazing pool! Unfortunately I didn’t use coz it was cold and raining!

Vale de São Torcato Hotel Rural is situated in Guimarães, 4.3 km from the iconic Guimarães Castle. I loved our stay here! The hotel is so creative. If we didn’t have a prior commitment we would have stayed longer. The pools, restaurant, and room were all amazing; a special treat on our travels.

The hotel grounds (vineyard) are serene, the room was spacious and beautiful, staff were very friendly. The highlight of our stay was the dinner, we took the degustation menu with wine pairing. A bit pricey in local terms, but very tasty and generous in wine (a whole bottle was provided for each dish...)
