Octant Douro is set in the southern margin of the Douro River, km 41 of the N222 road. It is 10 km from the centre of Castelo de Paiva, 40 km from Porto, 60 km from Porto International Airport and 160 km from the Spanish border. The views from the property and our room were breathtaking. The room was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the included breakfast, and found the onsite restaurants to be quite good. We loved the indoor pool and also took advantage of the babysitting services. Everything about our stay was wonderful.

Great stay! The entire place was beautifully decorated and very clean. The rooms were large with views of the hills. There was a nice pool and garden area. It was a very quiet space and they provided a very personal experience. Breakfast was cooked fresh in the morning and delicious! I wish we could have stayed longer :)
