Peaceful, beautiful and you can tell everything in there has been done with love to every detail.

We stayed here for 3 days (3 families) to celebrate Christmas. Everything was perfect - heating, amazing view, kitchen is fully equipped, wood for the fireplace, free bikes, electric charger for the car and (especially!) SPA area. Hosts were very helpful and friendly, they showed us everything, we really appreciated the guide book with all necessary information which made our stay even more comfortable. We'll definitely come back here!

Carya Tallaya is located a 10-minute drive from Termas do Cró (thermal spa) and 18 kms from the Mountain of Malcata Natural Reserve. Historic Villages of Portugal like Sortelha, Almeida, Castelo Mendo and Belmonte are between 22 and 45 km from the property. Breakfast was lovely with a surprise element every day. The house is beautifully done, and blends tradition with modern in a thoughtful way.

The spacious games room has an adjoining bar and stone floors. This area offers guests a billiards table and darts. Alternatively, guests can relax in the hot tub or visit the steam bath and sauna. Breakfast, was very good, so much stuff, great choice, local produce. Very quite location, ( In town). Nice pool area. Nice decor, lots of history. Helped with dinner recommendation and tour bookings.
