The island is very green and beautiful like a well-kept garden with orchids everywhere. Nice reef with lots of fish and huge stingrays near the water villas. 4 restaurants available (Arabic, Indian, French and International buffet + a la cart) with huge choice of food, fresh juices, wine, cocktails - good quality and great service. Relaxing massage at the SPA center. Kids club with many activities and own pool. Our butler Hathu was very helpful. Fantastic holidays!

Baros Maldives is a small island close to Male’ city set in a turquoise lagoon with villas secluded in palm-shaded glades by a white sandy beach or perched over-water with private sun deck. Many of the elegant, sandstone and timber, palm-thatched villas have their own plunge pool and some have a spa bath too. Apart from the location, I particularly liked how seamless and easy the checkin procedure was. The hotel allowed us to check in at close to 7 am, in fact they suggested it. This was really nice after an overnight flight. We didn’t have to complete forms or spend time at reception. The island has its own reef, and it’s a haven for snorkeling enthusiasts. Overall, staff are wonderful and trying their best to anticipate every need (special thanks to Reema who looked after us so well, and to Giyas from the Diving Centre for the unforgettable memories at sea.)

The quality of the food was exceptional - great choice with new dishes every night. The island is stunningly beautiful and reserved only for guests. Great gym and spa treatments. Can’t wait to visit again.

Vegetarian, halal and gluten-free options can also be requested. We liked everything about the hotel. It's like a little piece of paradise. We were at the "low" season, but the weather was good. And even a little rain was fun. The rooms are very nice. Shower is absolutely stunning. The staff is most friendly and doing their best to make your stay enjoyable. If you're traveling with kids-they will enjoy even more. It seems that staff on the resort is waiting for kids to make their stay fun. Especial thanks to girls at the bar, Kiso and Dani who were always at their best to put a smile on your face and treat you with a cocktail.

Offering a wide range of treatments, Veli Spa proposes the unique Dhivehi Beys treatments, as well as both modern and traditional treatments. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including snorkelling, windsurfing and diving. Room was very clean and good, it was small but enough for the couple. We loved hospitality of hotel staff they were good listener and answered all our queries in time.
