Kiha Beach 4 stars

Dharavandhoo

Located in Finolhus in the Baa Atoll Region, 15 km from Baa Atoll, Kiha beach features an outdoor pool and views of the sea. The hotel has a barbecue and a private beach area, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.

Certain units have a seating area where you can relax. A flat-screen TV and minibar is featured. Extras include a hairdryer and towels. I can particularly highlight kindness, efficiency and helpfulness of all the staff. Front desk is extremely nice and pleasant and helped not only during check-in and check-out, but also to arrange my flight to and from the island (from Malé). Servers in the hotel restaurant are attentive, kind, always smiling and extremely helpful. Not only that, also the kitchen staff is very helpful. Room service staff is also smiling, always positive, nice, understanding and helpful. I would like to specifically stress the helpfulness of food&beverage staff. I have several food allergies, which are quite annoying, limiting and stressful. The staff made everything that I would feel secure, always informed me about my allergens and obviously took it into consideration when preparing food for the restaurant (as I participated in buffet dinners). So to some extent, I believe, I was a burden for other guests, but I do not think they noticed. Anyways, the behavior of the staff really helped me to lift my stress and anxiety about the food and I cannot appreciate it more.

Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives 5 stars

Baa Atoll

Located in the UNESCO world biosphere of Baa Atoll, Seaside Finolhu provides the ultimate island experience for guests. Each one of Finolhu’s villas are located either on the island’s beachfront or directly over the ocean waters. More than half of the villas feature a private pool, while every villa category offers a spacious living area with all the modern comforts of home. Paradise. Thank you, Finolhu team, for this truly exceptional, unbelievable, and amazing holiday! Everything here is perfect! Friendly, caring, and cheerful service, and every little detail of the design is a small masterpiece. The food is of a high standard (each night features a different culinary theme). The sea life simply blew my mind! Fantastic creatures and dreamy landscapes abound. The ocean pool villa became my second home, bringing pure bliss: greeting the sunset, watching ocean waves with a cup of coffee, swimming to my favorite music, and taking aromatic baths. Special thanks to Maria and Ana for being caring, kind, friendly, and cheerful. I'll remember this experience for my whole life!

Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu 4 stars

Thulhaadhoo

For leisure, head into the sparkling waters for a range of water sports including canoeing and diving. Alternatively, indulge with soothing massages at Coco Spa. Union Pay is accepted here in the presence of the cardholder. Let me start from someone else complaints: do you really want a TV set when staying in Maldives? Please just go outside your room and enjoy the beauty of the nature, during night time enjoy stars and Milky Way... your TV set is waiting at your home when you'll come back... and I can promise you, you will miss the peace and beauty of Maldives. That said, I've been several times to Maldives so far in different atolls and resorts: all were somehow good or great, but what I can say about Coco Palm Dhuni is that is most eco-friendly and maldivian-style place to stay. You may look for larger resorts, with pools (pool in Maldives? Seriously?) and more amenities, but you won't feel the real pleasure of staying in a natural place which respects the environment and its roots. Second highlight: you have there the Olive Ridley marine turtle center which is really, really nice. They take care of unlucky turtles with passion and love! Third: swim in the lagoon and 99% you'll meet a turtle there! I'm posting a picture done with my camera because no kidding here and no fake review. Unfortunately corals are not much alive around, so if you're looking for diving or snorkeling you may need to have a daily trip in other better places, but I can assure there are enough nice fishes to see, including some clownfish (remember Finding Nemo...). The room was clean, cleaned twice a day (almost during breakfast, lunch or dinner to not disturb). In my room I had a Nespresso coffee machine with free refill and also water. Overwater villas may look silly in the pictures, but I can tell they are very nice and the wood makes you feel more close to nature. Who wants all the concrete in a natural paradise?!? All the staff is friendly, smiling and helpful. Food is good enough and with different options every day, if you stay 2 weeks it may look repetitive but after all you're not there just to eat, right?
