We stayed here for our 25th anniversary trip to Italy on our way from the Lake Como area and before visiting Portofino and the Cinque Terre and Tuscany. The hotel was very kind to upgrade us to a beautiful bay view with balcony. It was spectacular. We had a drink there and then ate in their restaurant, which was good. Breakfast was also very good and had lots of options. Espresso drinks were wonderful. I chose this hotel because it also had a nice gym, and I enjoyed it and its spectacular view. We were hoping to eat at the seaside restaurant and sit by the pool because the weather was in the 80s, but they were clsoed for the season. :( We visited Santa Marguirita Ligure, which was lovely, for lunch, and very close by.

Very clean villa with friendly owners. A cosy place which made us feel at home. We wanted to extend our stay a bit it was unfortunately full for the next days:( we also had dinner and it was just delicious. We will surely go back!

We arrived at Ricaroka after a hard day of driving in stormy weather from France into Italy. We were wet, tired and stressed but all of this was wiped away within minutes by the warm welcome we received from Antonio and his team who helped us parking our awkward trailer and whisked us in to their fantastic restaurant where we were served the best pizza and great wine! Our waiter Marco could not have been more helpful, speaking fluent English and suggesting food and drinks for all. Once we'd eaten our fill, our gracious host and his family showed us to our room. I had accidentally booked online for only two adults although we were also travelling with our children...not a problem for Antonio who smiled and took us to a quadruple room which was sparkling clean with a brand new bathroom. We slept soundly in a king size bed with the kids in their singles beside us. The room was quiet and air conditioned. The place was spotless and comfortable. In the morning we could not believe how copious the lovely breakfast was, again served by the always smiling and cheerful Antonio. Unfortunately we had only planned a one night stop here but we will certainly return on account of this welcome. We have been travelling for a month now and Antonio and his team stand out with their service and the standard of the accommodation and food. We didn't get to use the wellness facilities which look great or see much of the lovely little towns so that'll be for next time. The price of both our meal and the accommodation was extremely good value and Antonio refused our offer to pay extra for our kids and all his help. This is hosting done right. We'll be back! Grazie!

Two ancient villas surrounded by a 15,000 square meter park, 15 rooms with attention to every detail, two restaurants, an "outdoor" spa set among the olive trees and ancient stone remains and an infinity pool overlooking the entire gulf. Speaking German, English and Spanish at the reception, staff are always at hand to help. I booked this stay for my husband's birthday surprise gift. He was literally speechless when we arrived. Everything was so perfect - from the beautiful location with stunning views to the excellent service and delicious meals at the restaurant. Everything there is so carefully thought through to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Will definitely go back there!
