We were a bit worried if it would be too cold since we went with 2 little children, but the woodburner is able to heet up the whole house. It was really hot in the house. The sauna is electric so it takes longer to heet up, so keep that in mind when you are planing to go in. The location is really remote, there is no reception on any mobile phone, so phone calls will not work there. The host is always on your service via messaging apps

Located in the heart of Plitvička Jezera National Park, about 400 metres from the highest waterfall, Ethno Houses Plitvice Lakes Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with LCD satellite TV in an authentic wooden ambiance. The property is just off State Road 1. Really quaint setting, and the room was clean, comfortable, and had lots of charm. I loved the animals in the petting zoo, and the restaurant was good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. It is within walking distance of entrance 3 to Plitvice Lakes park.
