This holiday home is 7 km from Attingham Park and 2.1 km from Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology. Everything about this property spoke luxury. It was one of the best stays in England I’ve had as the service, room, location and breakfast were exceptional. Robin and his wife Louise were fantastic hosts and it was lovely waking up each morning with a delicious breakfast looking at the views of their garden and woodland. If you want a relaxing few days this is the place to go. You do need a car as Shrewsbury is a 20 minute drive.
From booking welcome message and regular communication with hosts, this holiday was made simple and extremely relaxing. The property is spacious, well supplied for catering and we enjoyed the peaceful site. Breakfast was gifted by the host, was fresh and very local (chickens on site). Surprise breakfast supplies were delivered at regular intervals and were delightful.
The fridge in the room was a welcome touch. Breakfast was excellent. Comfortable bed. Exclusive use of the lounge if required was unexpected but appreciated, although we didn't use it! A very relaxing stay.
The hall is beautiful with impressive spacious rooms immaculately cleaned. Large comfortable bed with cotton sheets. large flat screen TV, tea and coffee facilities and a great view overlooking the grand gardens and we enjoyed a relaxing stroll. Great nights sleep without a sound. Pick your own breakfast we had the full English -excellent.
The house is full of character and the rooms are spacious, full of light and clean The granola and yoghurt at breakfast was really yummy and there were plenty of bread rolls, cereal, toast with various toppings on offer, plus cold cuts. A plentiful supply of tea and coffee too. The host was very welcoming and helpful and the we felt very relaxed during our stay. The views across the hills is splendid. Our dog enjoyed her stay too.
Plenty of space, everything made to represent luxury and with perfect taste. Every suite is different. Very relaxing atmosphere in a middle of countryside. Best eggs ever in modern breakfast room and romantic bar drink in any of several posh rooms around.
The hotel was stunning, staff were all so friendly and helpful, such a lovely relaxing atmosphere too. Rooms were lovely and clean, breakfast was amazing and the bar area was relaxing. The spa was beautiful, great selection of saunas and steam rooms.
Leisure facilities were really good: pool/sauna/steam room/jacuzzi all in the same complex: relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was good value for money. The room was spacious.
The views were lovely and it was such a relaxed environment. I needed a relaxing weekend break. The spa was lovely and the steam and sauna room.
The spa was nice I do wonder though if the pool is big enough snd the hot tub (only fits 4) it’s a massive hotel snd was fully booked. 2 of the sauna was out of order and the massage etc fully booked.
