The lodge was so well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The outside space was excellent too, again well equipped. The fans came in very handy as it was extremely hot whilst we were there. Very relaxing place to stay. Only sounds were the ducks, moorhens and coots and the odd thwack of a golf ball. Wonderful stay, lovely views and very private, we wanted for nothing.

Set in a 17th century manor house, the Orton Hall Hotel & Spa is nestled in 20 acres of mature parkland in the conservation village of Orton Longueville. Both Peterborough and the A1 are 2 and half miles from the property. The hotel is beautiful, our room was spacious and very clean. Nice park around the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, wide choice and everything was very tasty. Highly recommended.

Other facilities in each room include a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. All rooms feature a work desk and a cosy seating area, and each has a private contemporary bathroom with a hairdryer. Everything was great. The staff were helpful and the location was second to none. They made fresh cookies everyday and had water in the room.

Guests have complimentary use of the onsite Health & Leisure Club facilities, operated by 1Life. Size and modernity of the accommodation. Large airy room. Excellent facilities. Very friendly staff.

Guests have access to a fitness room, steam room and can also attend fitness classes. Wow what an excellent relaxing place to stay even though it was only for one night I would definitely stay there again but I will not be recommending this to people otherwise there will be no free slots for me to return. Lol

Inspired by traditional Cambridge, The Varsity offers guests access to the Glassworks Gym and Spa, with hot tub, steam room, sauna and exercise classes. The staff is very friendly and helpful from check in to check out. The gym with access to sauna and jacuzzi is far better than your average 'hotel gym' that you see at so many hotel chains, to include two Peloton bikes. The rooftop bar is an excellent place to enjoy a drink with very friendly servers. Valet parking is required due to the location, and they are very proactive on bringing your car when scheduled. This will be my must stay location in Cambridge from now on.
