We had initially booked a room on the 3rd floor but my husband had an injury in the meantime that would have made it complicated to take all the stairs so we called ahead to explain the situation and they were nice enough to find a solution to accommodate us so we could stay on the first floor instead. Great room with 2 separate spaces that was perfect for our baby to sleep quietly in his own space.
Breakfast is all home-made and you have something for everyone. The breakfast room is also very pleasant.

Fantastic welcome from the hostess, great communication before arrival. Super clean room with everything we needed. Heating on ready for us as weather was chilly. The restaurant food was delicious classic French cuisine & cooked by the Patron. We very much enjoyed Dinner & breakfast in a lovely relaxed setting. This hotel is in a wonderful natural location. Great communication with the owner prior to arrival and during the stay. Very nice house, really enjoyable. Comfortable room, spacious, nice bedding, great bathroom. Breakfast is absolutely amazing and a reason to stay by itself.
Nice location in Spa region. Close to Volvic Water source. Traditional Hotel with lovely ambience. Central location close to good restaurants (Pricey) and Burger or Pizza. Lovely room and Breakfast Lucky with Free parking outside as weekend.
We have stayed at the hotel before, but it is great to see how the offer has improved. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really excellent, varied and plentiful. Mont-Dore as a town may have seen better days but we love the historic spa town vibe, and there are encouraging signs of regeneration. There was a Jazz Festival on when we stayed with free concerts - a real bonus. Good choice of restaurants in town.
Wow, what a stay! The property and its surroundings were beautiful, the breakfast was exceptional and we even had an hour in a sauna! We paid an additional amount for a local cheese plate on arrival and would highly recommend it. A perfect stay and we would love to return. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

Good breakfast, location was fine, not far to walk to other restaurants etc , really nice town with plenty to discover ie a park for little kids and big ones, casino, spar and a few shops. The hotel pool was welcoming after a busy day of walking in the heat although needs a little exterior work on the building. Lovely terrace and outside seating for relaxing. There is a car park near the hotel as well as their own but theirs has a height restriction so we parked elsewhere. We would be happy to return their hopefully in the ski season next time
Lovely host and beautiful decoration. Plenty of space to relax as you have access to a private terrace and a cosy living area just for yourself. The breakfast was really good. We'll definitely stay there again!
