Guests can walk to the local restaurant, just 900 metres away. One or several sessions in the spa and sauna can be reserved, subject to an extra cost.
The setting, rooms, building, and atmosphere were idyllic. Traditional medieval castle at it's best. Food and host could not have been better. The surrounding forests and lakes were beautiful. This property has been meticulously renovated back to it's original form. Excellent.

A game room with billiard table, baby foot and flipper is at your disposal. You can fish in the lake or simply relax on the terrace. The spa resort of La Roche-Posay is a 15-minute drive away and free private parking is provided on site. A superb place to stay with wonderful hosts and a lovely setting. The room was large and comfortable, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. A fantasy come real! Highly recommended.

Dinner and breakfast here is fabulous. Spacious very well equipped room, exceptional standard. The general feeling of the house is warm and relaxed. The owners are friendly and obliging and welcomed us and our dog. There is nearby countryside to have a good walk. Parking is on site and secure. Our second stay here and we are very likely to use again on our annual trip to the south of France.
Spa was amazing, very welcoming, treatments excellent, will definitely go back, in particular to see Fred who did an amazing massage. Food was good, just one member of staff who was a bit off!! The rest of the restaurant staff were lovely in particular Fredawar who was extremely helpful. WILL BE BACK 😁 Reception staff very welcoming, polite & informative 🙂
Sébastien, the delightful owner, welcomed us at the entrance & showed us around the beautiful gite. He has spared no expense in providing every possible comfort / luxury. Private parking, very well designed gite ( well equipped kitchen, lovely shower, comfy bed…) And he was kindness itself when he found that I was taken to hospital in the morning with the awful respiratory viral infection. He called several times to see if he could help in any way. What a lovely man ! And a lovely gite ! Thank you dear Sebastien ❣️

The property is exceptional! Lovely space, delightful host and a cozy environment. Breakfast is great and there is space to relax in the garden or to wonder around the area where a lot of Loira castles are. It is a b&b that I will keep in my heart and definitely go back if I have the occasion.
A amazing stay. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, even to the point of uncovering the swimming pool for us. The evening meal and breakfast were very good and sitting in the garden eating dinner with fellow guests added to the experience. The room was above expectations, comfortable and spacious.

Everything , it was very spacious we had a double suite with juliet balcony. It was a really nice room and facilities were very nice and clean. Matt that runs it was a great host , he was preparing evening meal for some other guest it looked and smelt great. He made us breakfast in the morning whuch was traditional french and was delicious. 10/10 for everything
From the very warm welcome by the owner to the clean and nicely decorated room with a spacious modern bathroom, aircon and a big comfortable bed, and a beautifully presented and delicious breakfast - this was a great place to stop on our way back to Portugal. We just wished we could have stayed one more day to use the pool and relax in the garden of this beautiful house. Merci beaucoup!
