The country house features family rooms. The property was a really nice surprise, so good that we decided to stay another night. Really clean and warm (temperature outside was around -5ºC). Breakfast was also good, and the staff really helpful.

We saw foxes, a wolf and we think we saw a bear in our hikes during the week we stayed. Unbelievable!

Comfortable inside, with all the bits and pieces - hooks, and shelves, and surfaces to put things on. Excellent shower, easy to control and regulate. Fully equipped kitchen, even an apron! Private garden a bonus. Very quiet location but near all facilities of the village.

What a fabulous place! A small, exclusive boutique hotel in a huge, well-manicured garden with a large pool, a full-flegged spa, a tennis court and a great restaurant, run by a chef who worked in Michelin-starred restaurants around Europe and who baked us a cake when he heard it was our anniversary. The owners Laura and Carlos are the sweetest people, they did everything to make us feel at home, for them it is clearly a labor of love. We loved every minute of our stay.

Thank you for putting up with my dreadful Spanish. Great location next to the castle and east to get to and from. Plenty of on street parking around. Comfortable room. Coffee was superb at breakfast. And there’s a great pizza place just down the hill with the cutest cats!
Breakfast was wonderful, and the young male waiter on duty was particularly lovely and kind. Indeed every staff member I dealt with was really nice and very helpful. The room was great, though a bit on the small side. The shower stall was very spacious and the shower itself was nice and powerful. Since the shower stall was fully enclosed water didn’t run out onto the floor, thankfully! The minibar kept things nice and cold! The view of Plaza Mayor from my window was fantastic! My stay could not have been more pleasant!
The room was spacious and modern. The hotel has an air of quality and luxury that we felt far surpasses the price we paid for the room. But the best feature for us was the underground parking with direct lift access to our floor. We drive a large SUV (Mazda CX5) and the parking easily accommodated it.
We booked the hotel for one night as my wife and I were travelling around northern Spain and a stop over in Leon helped to break up the journey.The hotel was easy to find and instructions on parking in the underground car park were great. The hotel is very modern and clean.The staff on reception were very helpful.
Nice atmospheric hostel with great & helpful staff. The hostel has a few cosy, shared spaces where you can relax. Breakfast is also included and free (filter!) coffee & tea during the day.
One of the best albergues I stayed in during the Camino. A very nice place, the room was spacious and there were regular beds instead of bunk beds. So everyone was comfortable sleeping in the 'lower' one :) There is also a nice terrace to relax. One of the highlights was, undoubtedly, the host, very friendly and engaged. Thank you, Juan! Last but not least, this albergue offers dinner (a la menu del peregrino) and breakfast (starts early morning,) both very tasty and at a decent price. If ever around, I will make sure to come back.

Located in a lovely rural setting , very nice stone building , lovely courtyard inside with a lovely bar . The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We left some belongings behind and they very kindly arranged gif it to be transferred with our bags .We had a lovely relaxed meal there which was excellent value and breakfast was very good too .
I was very happy to see that there was a new place in Astorga and was very impressed. The hospitalera is a former pilgrim and has created the most inviting and relaxing communal space. The dorm upstairs is not too big, the beds are very comfortable and it is spotlessly clean. In the morning I woke up to a beautifully set breakfast table with coffee, tea, toast, cereals etc. An absolute gem in the price and comfort range between the two main albergues and the hotels. Would definitely stay again!
