Their hospitality is the highlight of the place, despite the late check-in we had due to our work schedule, they welcomed us personally when we arrived and prepared us an incredible hot bath at the garden. We had bad luck running into cloudy and rainy days when we were there, but they recommended us places to visit that suit this weather the best, so that we didn’t get affected much. The apartment was clean and cozy, and the kitchen was fully-equipped which made it easy for us to make some simple meals. You can notice a lot of details they carefully curated for the place and of course we were in love with their appetizing, homemade breakfast (both the presentation of the food and its taste are enjoyable). <3

The Marqués de Riscal Restaurant serves dishes from Northern Spain, while the 1860 Tradición Restaurant offers traditional Spanish cuisine with a modern twist and using local produce. Breakfast is in the style of a tasting menu. Very special architecture, tranquil place, special!

The nearest airport is Logroño–Agoncillo Airport, 44 km from La Casona de Alútiz & Bodega. The property was pleasant, with spacious rooms and an elevator. The breakfast room was big and beautiful as well, and very comfortable. Breakfast was correct and tasty, which we enjoyed. The host, Ana, was very nice. Gave us useful advise on what to see and do nearby, changed our pillows to make the bed more comfortable for us when we asked and made us feel at home. We would have extended our stay one more night but the place was completely booked.

The rooms at the Viura have a minibar with free sparkling and still water, heating, and air conditioning. There is also a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and a DVD library for guests to enjoy. The private bathroom comes with free toiletries, bath or shower, and hairdryer. The restaurant was excellent with a good selection of wines. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
