Castle Spa Wagenküll offers luxurious and romantic accommodations in a total of 75 rooms and suites located in two different historic buildings (Castle, Parkhouse), each of which is made unique through its incomparable history and eye-catching architecture. Someone posted a review saying that this is the best SPA in the Baltics, and so far I agree! It has at least five different saunas and steam rooms, indoor and an outdoor swimming pools and even though there seem to be many guests staying at a time, it doesn't feel crowded at all. The SPA is very relaxing with dim lighting and ambient music. Great room, friendly staff, lovely surroundings, and there's also a restaurant if you're in the mood for some fine dining - not cheap, but worth it :) Breakfast was pretty standard in a good way. All in all, this place made me very happy! Side note: Slippers are provided by the hotel, but they're standard hotel slippers made of cloth, so they get soggy in the SPA. Next time we'll bring our own rubber slippers for extra comfort :)
