I loved the location, right outside town so nature was all around. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we ate in both nights. They even cooked goat cheese which I brought with me, because we don't have it in my country.
They have a beautiful outside space to eat but it was too cold for us to sit there in the evening. However it is a great place for lunch or afternoon coffee.
The atmosphere is more of a warm home than an impersonal hotel.

The relaxation area is designed the style of a Caribbean island. It was absolutely perfect, the hotel interior is stunning, the staff were kind and gnerous. They greeted us with warm drinks, valeted the car, and made sure we were well taken care of the entrire. It was a truly VIP first class experience. Breakfast and dinner were Michelin worthy.

We loved this hotel. Our room faced the church and so the view from the room was amazing. The breakfast was something that we used to look forward to because it was very good. The location was perfect. They give free beverages if you choose not to have your room cleaned. I would be at work all day and come back to a free beer ;D. The gym was adequate, there was a spa and a sauna that I didn't use but it seemed nice and clean
Amazing staff at this hotel. Truly 5* treatment, so lovely and helpful. It was my birthday during the stay (I didn't mention it) but the staff were so observant they wished me a happy birthday and gifted me some chocolate which was really sweet. I had an excellent massage in the spa. The view from our room was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic.
Very good breakfast, location is perfect for a relaxing time surrounded by nature. Private sauna was very cool to have and staff was super friendly. Perfect location to go to Bastei Bridge on a day trip, and ticket to use the ferry is given by the hotel which was great.
Very big hotel, so seems the staff is not to much interested in guests. Some info we would like to get right on reception. But still hotel is fine, very big room, not new but good looking and clean. Hotel in a great location overlooking the Elbe river and rocks, accessible only by ferry. Room superbly furnished and comfortable, with welcome wine and online check-in. You have to book online also a seat at the breakfast/dinner table, but all works fine. Spacious wellness area, bathrobes and towels available in the room. Beginning of the hiking trails. Great for active relax. Mostly Czech staff.

Bathroom was modern, all clean, breakfast yummy and lots of choices.on the roof patioor inside.The sauna was kind of convoluted to get to but clean and relaxing. even slippers and robes wee provided. It is a lovely hotel in an idyllic location, surrounded by beautiful nature. The house is walking distance to the Elbe river. It features the wellness area with sauna and the bier garden right next to the house. Our booking included breakfast which was very nice as well. It was in another location with the terrace outlooking the river. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, which is intentional, but you can catch free Wi-Fi in the restaurant and beer garden , if needed. It was a very relaxing stay and we loved it! Thank you!
We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is very nice, clean and spacious. It is located by walking distance to the city center (About 10 min). The building is huge, with lots of rooms and it has also a swimming Pool, a sauna and lots of massage options. The Pool isn’t as small as other users wrote, of course it isn’t an olympic pool but it is fine :) We found it very good and enjoyed it a lot.
This is a good hotel and the staff know it. A consequence is they are professional, polite, do their jobs with excellence. The breakfast was great, rooms spacious and clean, and facilities immaculate. Although we did not use the sauna (external to our cultural needs) many guests seemed to. Bad Schandau is a great little town, worth the visit and worth using to access the National Park.
