The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner only for the guests. This is one of the best B&B (and Dinner!!!). The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was heathy and delightfully presented, especially the full-variety breakfast. The rooms were clean and convenient. The dinning room is elegant and pleasant, with lovely decorations telling local stories. You can tell the owner's efforts in building up this place. The terrace outside the dinning room provides a panorama view toward the city of Blansko. During our stay, the area encountered an unusual early winter storm, so we just enjoyed the beautiful snowy view from the dinning room. Overall, it was a pleasant over-night stay for us to visit Punkva Caves in the next morning. A perfect start of our week-long road trip in Czechia from Prague.

However, very nice views, quite big parking lot, Good food, nice breakfast, moreover, in the evening the hotel restaurant is open and servs excellent Czech food. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Nice service. It is a very good start point to visit Moravsky Kras. Ca. 2 km is an interesting cave Vypustek

A carefully restored former school building, Hotel Stara Skola is located in the centre of Sloup in Moravian Karst Region. It offers a restaurant with Czech and international cuisine, a bowling alley and a billiard.

Skola’s rooms are all spacious and offer wooden or carpeted floors and a flat-screen satellite TV. The rooms offer views of the city centre and all feature free Wi-Fi. Sometimes you can get surprised while traveling. Once I had a trip with my family, I found the "Old school" hotel. That was brilliant, because my daughter - school girl was traveling with us. How I was surprised, when I realized that the hotel I booked was indeed former school. I asked my doughtier if she imagined she can spend a night in school? That was real adventure. We arrived quite late, but the captain was so welcoming. He offered us superb czech supper. He told me that grandfather of the present owner was the last director of the school. Rooms are made in the former school classes and cabinets. Parking place is large and safe. Cuisine is brilliantly czech-style. Beer is fresh. The breakfast in the morning also was home-style and tasty. I saw they have SPA, but we hadn’t tome for it. Left it for the next time. The hotel is placed in the middle of the village in front of the church, so you will be pleased by hourly melody of church bells. Staying here, you have possibility to visit the complex of caves only in 10 minutes walking from the hotel. So me and my family were pleasantly surprised. I would especially recomend the place for visitors with school-aged children. If I am ones more in that land, I would obviously to stay in the Old School hotel ones more.
