Our room had all the facilities.. including kitchenette which made quick cooking very easy.
The spa pool access was really refreshing.

The small details make it even more special.. beautiful fresh flower vases, the shampoo n conditioner in the shower very good quality u don’t usually find in 5 star hotels, super comfortable bed mattress, shuttle driver to the ski station very friendly, nice books all around the lobby area, DJ on Saturday afternoon, billiard room..

Exceptionally good hotel all round. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent buffet breakfast included in price, which seemed pretty good for Zermatt. The spa facilities were brilliant (large hot tub, sauna, and steam room), along with complementary use of pool in partner hotel nearby if desired. Nice touches were the provision of complementary lifts to and from the station, and afternoon cakes and fruit in the lounge. A really enjoyable stay.
The breakfast had great variety and anything that had run out was refilled very quickly. The hotel staff were always very cheerful and happy to assist with any questions/requests. The spa facilities (sauna, steam bath, quiet room) were excellent and offered a great way to relax after a day of skiing/snowboarding for those who aren't too much into the apres-ski scene.

A lovely friendly and comfortable hotel. Very helpful staff. Collected from the train station in the hotel shuttle. The room was very comfortable and very quiet. We even slept with the window open as we like a cool room and were not disturbed as it is in a quieter area. The breakfasts were lovely with very healthy options. The spa was great with a nice Finnish sauna and cold shower, steam room and a hot tub & swimming pool. Would without doubt stay at The Rex again.
First of all - the staff, these guys and girls are really making this place special. Service is top quality. Another good things - SPA area, outside pool, nice saunas, relaxing areas. Very good hotel's location, just few steps form the ski lift + from the bus stop which takes to yet another ski lift. Breakfast - one of the best I had, there is everything you can think of.. just great, really liked the reserved table which did not change for the whole stay.

The rooms are beautifully decorated in a homely fashion. The breakfast was very generous and of high quality. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, an absolute delight to stay at the hotel. The spa area is another delight to relax and enjoy nicely heated pool plus sauna and steam bath rooms. The location is ideal if you want to use train or stroll in town close to all happenings in the lovely town of Gstaad. We enjoyed thoroughly our stay and hope to visit it at another time again. Highly recommended.
luxury hotel. beautiful views(request Eiger view room) wonderful facilities touch of class about the entire stay the 90min daily use of day spa and sauna was great. nice little gym for good workout if you want it. breakfast absolutely sensational. very handy to access First Mountain cable car.
