Spa facilities are available for free and include a sauna, a sanarium, a steam grotto and a hot tub. Children can have fun on the adventure playground, you can enjoy rides on the lake with a boat featuring a glass bottom and visit the on-site trout farm. We couldn't fault this place. The beds were so comfortable, the spa absolutely perfect and the dinner and breakfast two of the best meals we'd had in a long time. On top of that the staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. It was raining heavily when we arrived so we were given complimentary teas before being taken to our room (as it was an outdoor route and that way we could wait until the rain had stopped). Robert and Ute on Reception and Peter in the Restaurant were amazing, though all the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. This place is a little slice of magical luxury and we highly recommend it as somewhere lovely to treat yourself - and it's not even that expensive by Swiss standards, considering what you get for your money. We only stayed one night but felt so well-looked after and relaxed that it felt like much longer.

The location was exceptional when using public transportation. The staff was very helpful, the facility was clean and modern and the breakfast was amazing with the best view ever. The view from the pool was magical.

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. Hotel staff amazing, as any issues they were quick to sort. Our room had 2 sofa beds for the kids which worked out extremely well, & a lovely balcony that we could watch the Gondolas go up & down mountain. Breakfast was incredible & nice to sit outside enjoying it too. Welcome drinks when we arrived, was a nice surprise as not expecting. Carparking easy & safe. Close to bus stop, so you could get this up & down to town if you wanted. (Also free with card that Hotel gives you). Walk was 10 mins downhill, but a lot more back...lol
