The double rooms and family apartments include a private balcony. Our host Marco could not have been more helpful and kind. We loved our stay and will definitely return and stay at the RIVER RESIDENCE again, next time we would love to try one of the rooms with a balcony. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, comfy beds and there was a bonus 'laundry room' which we had access to. The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and bike hire is available at this 4-star hotel. Everything! The size of the room was incredible & the tub…amazing! The soak was also incredible! Wish we could have had more time to enjoy the atmosphere and accommodation.

The Aquarena fun and Thermi Spa's facilities include a 65-meter long slide, as well as a hot tub, a cold-water pool, Finnish saunas, a steam bath, a solarium and numerous relaxing areas. Bad Schinznach has the strongest brimstone source in all of Switzerland. Beautiful setting, spa is the best I’ve been in and the staff were lovely.

A wide range of wellness and beauty treatments are available at the Limmathof spa and state-of-the-art gym facilities with river views are also at all guests' disposal. Loved the location. Short walk to trains and shops. Especially loved their own restaurant. Had the best meal of our entire month long holiday in 6 different countries there.
