Atop centrally located Nob Hill, this landmark San Francisco hotel features luxurious rooms and suites. A full-service gym and spa and two unique dining experiences are available on site. Fairmont San Francisco is the only hotel in the city where all 3 cable car lines meet.

The view from the room, the luxury feel to the entire property and the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff made this the best hotel stay I have ever had.

A nice hotel in a central location. Clean, spacious rooms. No breakfast, but the hotel recommends one of the local diners and provides a discount card to use for every morning of the stay. We had received an outstanding service upon checkin. Dave (if i remember correctly) at the reception, while chatting to us about the trip and the plans, when found out it was our honeymoon trip, kindly upgraded our room and sent us a bottle of fizz. It was truly magical and made our stay special.

Rooms are spacious, breakfast is generous & staff very nice! The hotel is on a hill, literally, so be prepared to walk up but it is very central. It is closer to china town, union square etc.

very modern hotel, very nice service, unfortunately the breakfast was crap, the room I got was so small that I had no space to put my suitcase with my things, I do not recommend it for longer than one night - two nights

We loved everything about our stay. Staff were exceptional, room had plenty of space, fire place was a fabulous addition, bed was comfy, shower was great. The bathroom floor was on a lean enough to feel it sitting on the toilet however it is a very old building. Breakfast was fantastic and the location was excellent.

New and modern hotel, open space where you can sit at the bar, enjoy a drink, or just read a book and relax. Good location, very central, close to Powell station for BART or cable cars. The breakfast was also very good, with diverse options, from fruit salads, pastries, sandwiches, etc. There is always a bodyguard at the entrance which also makes it feel safe

I liked everything except the breakfast which was OK but a bit too basic and not very healthy ( emphasis on sugar). Something a little healthier and more ambitious would have fitted the other high standards of the Hostel. I love the beautiful location of the Hostel with it's great view of the GG Bridge. The staff were excellent--friendly and helpful. Comfy beds. Everything very clean. Wonderful kitchen. Wonderful spaces for relaxation

It was a privilege to stay in such an elegant and comfortable home. The accommodation suite was completely private with spacious bedrooms, a light airy well- equipped lounge and a pretty east facing roof terrace with a hot tub to relax on. The hosts welcomed us into their kitchen and provided delicious breakfasts in the dining room and great advice on local attractions, transport and places to eat. They were generous and hospitable without being interfering and made us feel completely at home!
