We spent two nights here while on the Camino. It is in a beautiful beach front location within walking distance of some good restaurants and bars. The rooms were a good size and we had our own private patio to enjoy the sunshine. The hotel has a pool and a good bar area to enjoy drinks and snacks. The breakfast was good .
What better way to unwind after a day’s sightseeing than relaxing in a health and wellness spa? Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
Hotel is right by the train station and near the bus station so easy to access with public transport. It's in the oldest building in the town. There is a great little craft ale bar next door which has it's own door into the hotel. Breakfasts were generous and the small pool was great for cooling off/relaxing. Friendly staff.
Public facilities in the hotel were lovely. The swimming pool was surprisingly big and the spa was good. Very good breakfast from extensive breakfast buffet. Our room was comfortable and had a great view over the harbour.
Old fashioned, good renovated hotel, big lobby with comfortable seatings, small rooms, spa/sauna downstairs well maintained but no windows, breakfast good standard
It's been years since I've felt a place deserved a review. AP Dona Aninhas is top tier and deserves 5 stars. The wellness area is perfectly laid out, encompassing steam room, heated pool, hot tub, sauna and sensation shower. The restaurant serves fresh, high quality meals and the bar is well stocked. Exceptionally clean in all areas and smells divine. We'll without a doubt stay here when we return to Viana.
The hotel is very beautiful and really cozy. The bedroom is nice and the beds are really comfortable. The breakfast has a lot of variety, is tasty and has live piano as background (and the staff gave us a really nice surprise during it ☺️). The spa and pool are relaxing and offer a range of things. It is a really really nice hotel, to repeat for sure!!!
Excellent place. We extended our stay cause we loved it so much. Super breakfast, pool, sauna and massage facilities.
Looking forward to coming back one day.
The most incredible service, comfort and facilities. Breakfast was an absolute delight with a pianist to boot! The pool, sauna & spa were a highlight for me (a pilgrim who desperately needed the TLC!)
This was possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. It was beautifully decorated, relaxing, in a good location close to town. It had a pianist at breakfast! Wonderful spa facilities. Great staff and an air of quiet sophistication and low key glamour. The bed was sooo comfortable . I didn't want to leave.
Everything was just perfect! I liked it all - the design, the room by itself, bathroom was very big and good also. And the turkish bath and sauna after the long walk - perfect!!! Also the pool on the roof top was good! Breakfest - tasty! Stuff - very kind and nice!
