Very nice owner who was very helpfull, pleasant and has very cute two dogs! Acommodation is very nice, well furnished, with kitchen, nice bathroom, large bed and beautifull terrace with the river view.

For those who like to be in nature, the accommodation is in a very beautiful location. We really enjoyed the silence and magical views there. It was also nice that there was an indoor pool, as it was already a bit chilly outside at the end of October. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Me and my sister went with our children, they gave us the extra beds we asked for. But in order for us to feel more comfortable with space they decided to accommodate us on the bigger suite.

The view from the room was amazing and the room was big and nice.
We liked the spa treatment and the breakfast. a private underground parking lot was perfect.
The location is truly beautiful and secluded, but still easy to reach. The rooms are spacious and well appointed.
The breakfast buffet is very nice, and the staff had good recommendations for spots for dinner. Note these will all require at least a 10m drive.
We love this hotel - we love the view, love the property, love the walls around, love the location near the station, love how accessible it is to Monsterio station as well.
This time around we discovered not only the infinity pool but the spa area, the sauna, the steam room and the relaxation room. Although we were sad the salads weren’t in season due to the time of year, we loved the alternate restaurant recommendations.
As always, a brilliant calm and peaceful stay.
The place is a small paradise to spend a couple of days to relax.The restaurant is excellent and the breakfast reach.The train station is very close to the hotel if you don’t have a car.
This hotel was wonderful and we had a lovely time staying there. The spa was great and we made the most of the steam/sauna rooms as well as the outdoor pool. The view from the room was incredible and our room was directly facing the river. The bed was so comfortable and we slept extremely well. Room service was also great and the staff were very attentive and made sure we had an amazing experience.
All the rooms are Douro river facing. Waking every morning to a beautiful view and chirping birds is great. The massage treatment was perfect at the Spa.
