Both the staff and facilities were excellent. The gym and spa were great - we both had treatments in the latter carried out by the very professional staff.
We had a pool facing room, which meant we were able to walk a few meters outside, and either sit on our patio area or lie on a sun bed in the leisure area surrounding the pool. Very convenient for popping back and forth to our room.
We ate a couple of nights in the hotel restaurant. The quality was quite good and the prices, reasonable.
What better way to unwind after a day’s sightseeing than relaxing in a health and wellness spa? Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
Maggie is a very lovely host. She wants their guests to feel home in her little paradise. Her house is in the middle of nowhere. This is a place where you can relax and recover from all the noise and stress in our daily lives. On the day we left, she even offered us to stay a little longer. That was very comfortable for us. Our room including the big bathroom and balcony was luxury. We enjoyed it very much.
The location was absolutely fabulous. Middle of nowhere embraced by nature. The rooms were excellent and the common areas as well. Plenty of space with mix of rustic with modern that just fits the environment. We loved the fact that there were no TVs and we could just breathe calmness and relaxation. On top of all that the host was an amazing person and the breakfast was a great moment every morning. Can't recommend it enough!!
The selection of food in the breakfast room was sufficient for a "normal" consumer.
The rooms of our suite were very clean and the size of them, including the terrace,
was great. The indoor Spa-pool was nicely warm and the size of the outdoor pool
big enough to swim without bumping into other people. The couple-massage I booked
at the Spa was fantastic for me but my spouse received a less satisfying one -
surely this depends always on the skills of the particular staff.

Clean, spacious and very welcoming hosts. Great pool with amazing view at the valley. breakfast was huge and fresh. There are only 4 rooms and it was very quiet and relaxing. when the other guests were out, it felt like a private villa! Bbq is available!
We had a wonderful stay at Vila Foia. Only there for two nights but if it’s rest and relaxation you want this is the place for you. Beginning with a super friendly welcome the hosts Michel and Henk were charming and couldn’t do enough for us. In fact all the staff we met were lovely. Rooms were spacious with a large terrace affording fabulous views across the valley and down to the coast. Breakfast delicious sitting outside enjoying that same view. Great restaurant 15 mins walk away too.
