Everything was first rate. The food was fresh from the garden and orchard or freshly homemade. Excellent European coffee all day. Room was spacious with a good firm memory foam mattress a heating unit a spacious shower filtered water. Grounds had fruit trees and vegetable garden. Hosts were very knowledgeable of the area and helpful about where to go and how to get there. They will become lifelong friends.

The location was absolutely fabulous. Middle of nowhere embraced by nature. The rooms were excellent and the common areas as well. Plenty of space with mix of rustic with modern that just fits the environment. We loved the fact that there were no TVs and we could just breathe calmness and relaxation. On top of all that the host was an amazing person and the breakfast was a great moment every morning. Can't recommend it enough!!

The resort is absolutely fabulous, the suites are very well equipped and spacious. The spa was top notch. The breakfast was superb with lots of choice plus an additional focus on healthy eating. For dinner, we ate a light meal in the bar which was outstanding, not to mention the sweeping views of the valley and the magnificent sunset. Only good things to say about our experience. I wish we had stayed longer.

The selection of food in the breakfast room was sufficient for a "normal" consumer. The rooms of our suite were very clean and the size of them, including the terrace, was great. The indoor Spa-pool was nicely warm and the size of the outdoor pool big enough to swim without bumping into other people. The couple-massage I booked at the Spa was fantastic for me but my spouse received a less satisfying one - surely this depends always on the skills of the particular staff.

Amazing location and view, fantastically helpful staff, lovely gardens and pool. Loved the different sitting areas and shady trees. Lovely breakfast. Yoga and massage both excellent. Great location for a peaceful wellness retreat.

Our toom was very spacious and lots of lovely touches to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was fresh with ample choice. Walking trails straight from the property into the hills. A refreshing dip in the pool and hot tub after and enjoying the birds and nature again in the beautiful gardens! We absolutely loved our stay. Thank you, Dirk-Jan & Karin. Clean, spacious and very welcoming hosts. Great pool with amazing view at the valley. breakfast was huge and fresh. There are only 4 rooms and it was very quiet and relaxing. when the other guests were out, it felt like a private villa! Bbq is available!

We had a wonderful stay at Vila Foia. Only there for two nights but if it’s rest and relaxation you want this is the place for you. Beginning with a super friendly welcome the hosts Michel and Henk were charming and couldn’t do enough for us. In fact all the staff we met were lovely. Rooms were spacious with a large terrace affording fabulous views across the valley and down to the coast. Breakfast delicious sitting outside enjoying that same view. Great restaurant 15 mins walk away too.

Casa Spa D'Alma was in every way exceptional. To be honest it made the holiday for me. The serenity, glorious garden overlooking the 3 hills, relaxing in the pool and hot tub - my children loved it - the hammocks, the gentle sound of splashing water, the fruit trees, gorgeous flowers, Swallowtail butterflies, 100s of migrant birds flying overhead while I was swimming, just magical. I liked that nature was welcome. Our lovely hosts made us so welcome and were super telling us about restaurants, local knowledge, walks and beaches.
