Simply delightful! Like a very comfortable tree house. Gorgeous views amazing terrace and so many lovely places in the garden and grounds. We lived taking the kayaks on the lake. Some of the reviews mention the road down... its just a few hundred metres and we managed fine in an SUV.

This is a beautiful 2-bedroom apartment with a very functional kitchen, excellent outdoor terrace with table and chairs, and very strong water pressure. Danielle is an excellent host and also extremely nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

This place is way bigger than we expected -- it's huge! Two bed, one and a half bath. Full kitchen, dining room, living room, and lovely views of the town (and small stream downstairs, hence its namesake). Wifi worked well, there was a full set of kitchenware (although we only used the wine and beer glasses), and the beds were fine. It's very conveniently located too, slap in the middle of the town. Getting the keys was easy -- message from the host with a code for a lockbox on the entrance alongside detailed instructions, and it's great that there was an included parking space in the underground carpark. Overall, it was far more than the two of us needed which was great!

Superb location, newly renovated, all mod-cons plus spa access, a good restaurant and an excellent breakfast! JUST GREAT! We came here after trying to access the nearby chalet, Teixeira Home, where the cobble-stone access was so slippery and steep that our car didn't make it there. Despite the fact, that booking and the owner did not wave the cancellation fee (!), we are feeling blessed that we found Aguas do Geres. Located right in the middle of a charming resort town, with other good restaurants around, and amazing nature at our doorstep. A pleasure even in the continuous rain we experienced. We will be back, I hope.

It ‘s a beautiful spot. The view is wonderful and Luisa is a very kind host. She speaks not only Portuguese, but also Spanish. The studio contains everything you need and is very clean. It’s also close to all the spots you want to visit.

Perfect location: in the center of Geres but in the nature, away from the noise of the street Beautiful house and amazing shared garden Free access to the swimming pool of the Parque das Terma and to the park itself The house is managed by Hotel Águas do Gerês, where you have to go for check-in and check-out (2min away by foot). The staff is very dedicated and always available to help or answer questions. The house is divided into 6 apartments. We got apartments 3 and 4, which were recently gathered and connected via a door between the two rooms. I don't think they can be rented separately anymore, but there are still two different (very small) kitchens. Apartment 4 has a very good king size bed, the room is very bright because it is triple-oriented with 3 openings with shutters (we were able to sleep with the windows open to get fresh air at night, and still feel very safe to do so, as the shutters were closed) and a nice bathroom with natural light and air The wifi worked well. We were lucky because the guests in the other apartments were quiet and didn't stay at all during the day, so we had the entire garden just for us, it was amazing Nice hiking trails departing from the house.
