Blue Spur B&B was a very pleasant accommodation. Our rooms were nice and very clean and included good facilities and a comfortable/cool bed. Our very friendly host Ron provided good breakfasts and we had interesting discussions with him about life in NZ. The B&B is in peaceful countryside and Hokitika is a 5 minutes drive away. Providing good value for money Blue Spur is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay.
Amazing place. Beautifully decorated and thoughtful amenities at every corner. Parking spaces in the house compound and walkable to town. The breakfast was top notch! Would definitely come back again.
This is at least the sixth time we have stayed at the Beachfront so clearly we must be very satisfied customers. The rooms are spacious and always spotlessly clean. The Ocean View restaurant provides an excellent breakfast and tasty evening meals. We have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
I really like the hosts and their bnb. They were very friendly and helpful. I loved the bedroom and bathroom. They even had a sitting area upstairs for guests to relax outside of their rooms with plenty of refreshments if needed which I thought was an excellent touch. Really enjoyed the breakfast and morning interaction with all the guests including the hosts. Great nights stay and great location. You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful location with views of the ocean to eat your breakfast, dinner. Wonderful home cooked meals with plenty of choice. We loved the “sundowners” drink with other guests and option to enjoy a hot tub to relax after our long day driving. Take the trip over the creek in their “radar” vehicle .. brilliant experience.
Very comfortable bed and exceptionally clean.
There was huge amount of space thought out the property for everyone to relax, there was activities for all and been so quiet it was a great way to unwind. The kids loved the pool table and darts and mum love the hot tub.
We loved everything about the lodge. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast selection and plenty of spaces to relax in. Best of all it is in a good location and has stunning views
This is such a beautiful property in an awesome location. Surrounded by trees and plants you could almost be convinced you were in Vietnam. The spa pool was an awesome addition and was set up perfectly. Outdoor deck was an awesome place to soak up the sun and would be amazing to watch a sunset (we weren’t so lucky with this but still beautiful views). Enjoyed the breakfast options in the morning. Plenty of lounge space and overall a wonderful, relaxing stay.
