LOCATION - Its very close to the beach, and a few mins walk to the local shops and restaurants.
HOTEL - Looks beautiful, amazing interior design. Everything is clean and tidy. The gym is really small and a bit outdated but it has everything you need for a good workout.
RESTAURANT - Food is great, tasty and portions are good. A bit pricey if you're not on full board.
STAFF - Staff is beyond amazing, really friendly and helpful. Excursion guides try hard to make everything as best as they can for your enjoyment. Waiters and hotel staff are polite, friendly, always smiling and make you feel really welcomed.

The hotel is located directly in the small town, 5 min walk to the closest restaurant, grocery shops around.
2 min walk to the harbor (good for diving 😉)
50-60min walk to the end of the island (sand banks).
If you're lazy you can hire bikes, scooter or "taxi" transfer.
The room was very comfy and I was sleeping very well in the bed. Aircon works fine. Fridge also.
The bathroom is big enough for me, like in whole asia, you don't have space to put things and the bathroom is flooded after shower. But the room overs lot of options to store your stuff. Very hot shower.
In general I think the room was a very good price value in comparison to other hotels on the island and especially in comparison to the privat resorts around the islands.
All stuff was very friendly and helpful.
Even though there are mosquitos on the island, I never had a single one in my room 😀

Beautiful resort and facilities! Gorgeous pure white soft sand, clear torquoise waters, lush vegetation. So clean, tidy and immaculate. Great instagram opportunities. Good sized long island with many places where you can be isolated even though guests were at breakfasts.
Abundance of staff who were so helpful, friendly and conscientious. Having your own "assigned staff" contactable via Whatsapp was incredibly helpful. Everything we needed was dealt with through our helpful contact, Jovi.
Great variety in eateries although very expensive in USD and 26% taxes. In room food delivery for USD$8++ ended up being the most effective for us. We really enjoyed the live mellow music and 2 for 1 cocktails at the East Bar Happy Hour. Highly recommend the whisky based Yamayaki and fruity Ikebana cocktails - we kept going back for more.
We stayed in a Beach Pavilion for 3 nights (room 312) and Water Villa for 2 nights (room 431). We loved the Water Villa! It was so beautiful and well laid out. It was a dream to lie in bed and watch the sea through the huge glass panes. We were fortunate to not have much seaweed in the water around our villa and had uninterrupted sunset. Beds in both places were so comfortable and even though pillows collapsed, they were surprisingly supportive. It was quiet in both places despite having neighbours.
We went on the free snorkeling tour about 10min boat ride away and there was a good amount and variety of fish. We hoped to catch sight of mantra rays around the sea plane pier ~7:30pm but no luck on the nights we were there.
Staff made my 50th birthday so special - birthday messages and flowers made of palm fronds, discount and upgrade offers, front table on the beach at Allegria for a delicious dinner (Tagliatelle Lobster recommended) with restaurant staff singing "Happy Birthday" and a delectable chocolate cake!!! So spoilt!
As we take things slow, 5 nights wasn't enough at this paradise!

Our stay at Nova was wonderful. The resort and its surroundings were very stunning. The sea was indescribably beautiful. The transfer from the airport was very well organized. All the facilities, activities were great and the offerings were varied. There were a lot of food options. Even if we wanted to taste specific specialties, it was cooked especially for us by our chef. All the staff were very friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable. They tried to fulfill every wish in the best possible way and were very attentive. I would especially like to thank Heidi, Chef Evinda, Chef Bee, Chef James, Jaleel, Eemaze (two), Jalim, Haidee, Kadek, Ali, Naida and all the other crew members (e.g. for housekeeping, etc. sorry I have forgotten some of the names). I can't even put into words how amazing it was staying at Akiri Dhigurah. Jumaan is the most kind and attentive manager. He looked after us like we were part of the family. Breakfast was amazing, the room very spacious and comfortable. I am so happy I chose this place for our Dhigurah visit. I don't think there is any other place in the island that is magical like this one.
I had an very experience at this guest house. i was in a room across the street, very spacious and clean and the bathroom was too. i had a good traditional breakfast.
