I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Taj Coromandel during the last two days of my trip to Tamil Nadu, on the 20th and 21st of September 2024, and I must say that it was an absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish.
I would first like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Jasmin Ahmar, whose exceptional hospitality truly made a difference. Despite the hotel being fully booked, she went above and beyond to accommodate us, moving us to a beautiful room away from the smoking wing. Even while we were out shopping, she thoughtfully followed up to ensure everything was perfect, letting us know that our baggage was already in the room. Her proactive care and attention to detail made us feel incredibly welcomed and valued.
I would also like to express my sincere thanks to the two wonderful front office ladies, Ms. Vijaya and Ms. Sobika. Their warm and gracious welcome, along with their outstanding service, ensured that our stay was as comfortable as possible. They attended to every need with professionalism and kindness, making our experience truly memorable.
Furthermore, I cannot thank the restaurant staff enough for making our dining experience exceptional. At Southern Spice, Mr. Sagai Raj, Mr. Shiva Kumar, Mr. Govindaraj, Mr. Shafi, and Mr. Madhay delivered impeccable service, adding to the wonderful atmosphere with their care and warmth during dinner. It was a delightful evening.
The next morning, during breakfast, the outstanding service continued with Mr. Kuppusamy, Mr. John (Manager), and Chef Dhayaln. Their attention to detail and hospitality exceeded my expectations, and I was genuinely impressed by the high standard of service they provided.
The entire experience at Taj Coromandel was simply top-notch, and I cannot express enough how much we appreciated the incredible service and hospitality extended by the entire team. Please convey my deepest gratitude to everyone who made our stay truly unforgettable.

It was an oasis in the heart of Chennai. Gorgeous architecture, lovely places to sit peacefully. The garden terraces, full of flowers and surrounded by trees was magical.
It was clean, very comfortable, spacious and very relaxing. The dining area was so pretty and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was great- best veg biriyani I’ve ever had, the breakfast pungal super too.I only wish I’d booked a longer stay.
Nice area of Chennai. Good pool and spa with excellent massage. Fantastic breakfast with excellent variety of south and north india and western options. Vegan friendly. The themed suite is a very nice room with a comfortable bed. Room service food was very good (when they get the order right).

The spa area was phenomenal, my dad enjoyed the male section and me, my sister and my mum enjoyed the steam room, sauna and jacuzzi.
The bathrooms were so well appointed and the room was absolutely gorgeous. The facilities were second to none and also they gave me a birthday cake for my birthday! was really touched! The staff there, at each level and department, went over and beyond - this was our favourite stay of our 2 week trip!
This is a very high standard hotel in every respect, tasteful interior, great facilities, very clean and top service provided by very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast, good location, luxurious room, comfortable bed etc. The spa was also excellent, Indian head massage highly recommended. Fabulous roof terrace with nice pool.
We had an excellent stay. The place was perfect, with excellent facilities for the whole family and very efficient and friendly staff. Highlights for us were, spacious and clean rooms, washer and dryer, kitchenette, no use of plastic bottles, kids outdoor play area, kids indoor play area, outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam and sauna. Breakfast was good too.

The room was well appointed and had all the facilities expected (Good bed, Cable TV, Fridge, Safe, nice bathroom. The staff fixed the problem with the safe quickly and efficiently. The breakfast was excellent, with a huge range of choice. The Pool was great for laps and there was a hot tub and sauna too.
