It is in a super quiet surrounding, still 2 minutes from the sea. Staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast served was varied and plentiful.

It’s also an excellent base for exploring the southern coast, whether by rental car or through the many organized trips offered by the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel is brand new, beautiful and clean. Rooms are quite large, nicely decorated and have high tech features such as automatic curtains. The food was excellent and of higher quality than other comparable hotels. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their services really stands out. The beach is great and the beach beds are very comfortable.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel. It's not large, which adds to its charm, and the staff were simply fantastic. The beach is stunning, with direct access from the hotel – no need to cross any roads. The breakfasts were amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options. It's conveniently located close to Rethymno, making it easy to explore the area.
The spa was a delightful experience, and I highly recommend booking a private room with a sauna and Turkish bath. My teenage daughters absolutely loved it. All in all, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy.

Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
I stayed for 7 nights there with my family and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and taken care of and giving us the perfect space to unwind
And live that vacation vibe. Personally I loved the yard with the hammocks to relax early in the morning or late at night. Our favorite part: the hosts. It felt for us like family friends that we were visiting. Very kind and warmhearted 🫶🏼

This has to be one of the finest places to stay anywhere in Crete. We wanted somewhere small where you get the personal touch, yet somewhere operating to luxury standards. Here we got both. By the end we got to know all the staff who were exceptional. Nowhere have I felt more relaxed than here in 25 years of travelling. Location is perfect for easy access to the whole of wonderful Plakias.
Outstanding breakfast and dinner included in our bedroom rate. Great choice. Great common areas for relax, swimming pool very well kept, kids pool could use a bit more shade, but otherwise great. Lovely Tuesday evening live music entertainment. Very good size bedrooms. Staff was always super helpful and smiling.

Stefanos is a beautiful medium sized modern hotel complex, built in greek style up on the slopes overlooking Plakias Bay, with great views but quit location. Spacious apartment with all what is needed, including seaview, spacious balcony (with private hot spa), very friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and also nice infinity pool (for which it was too cold and windy during our stay, but is awesome).
A lovely, modern and spotlessly clean small block of apartments. Interiors were spacious with big bathrooms. We didn't use the spa but were told the sauna and jacuzzi were complimentary. The pool area and garden were attractive, good-sized, and quiet when we were there. Breakfast was served on our balcony - a lovely, generous selection. Great value for money. Very helpful staff and lots of free snacks - sweets, juice and raki. Would recommend.
